For almost 10 years now the team at Caractères et Cætera has been translating into over 50 languages, meeting your need to communicate to your partners, clients, suppliers, collaborators, shareholders and so on in the own language.
We feel that the time is ripe for us to put pen to paper and tell you a little bit about what our profession entails so as to satisfy your curiosity and also give you a little more information.
“Caractères et Cætera” consists, of course, of characters, but we must not forget the “et Cætera”, because after Rennes, Annecy and Saint-Cloud in the greater Paris area, Caractères et Cætera has grown and adapted to other cultures, and it has now become Dutch via Vertaald in Amsterdam, Argentinean with Caractères Sud in Buenos Aires and more recently has also become British with The Word Company in the London area. And as communication media enters a new area, we have expanded in scope and offer a new dimension of multimedia and voiceover translation with Vox Appeal (see below).
Our expertise is centred on professional language services, including translation, interpreting, desktop publishing and audio voice dubbing, as well as a website translation and localisation utility, with the recent arrival of Mybel Andino.
We hope that this first quarterly NEWS ETC will help you get to know us a little better.
